Barcelona could be without Luis Suarez against Inter in the Champions League after the striker underwent treatment for a knee injury.

Suarez skipped Uruguay’s upcoming games against South Korea and Japan to recover from what is described as ‘ongoing discomfort’ in his knee.

“Over the coming days, Suarez will undergo individual strength and preventive work at the Ciutat Esportiva,” Barca wrote in a statement on Monday.

“His progress will determine his availability thereafter.”
