It was confirmed yesterday that the problem has been resolved, and the Nerazzurri are now thought to be in pole position for the Czech striker.

According to this morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport, Schick has been convinced by the project at San Siro, and believes he could immediately be a key part of the team.

The Beneamata are offering €30m split over three years, with €1.5m per season in salary for the player, virtually the same deal that was agreed with Juve.

Samp want to keep Schick until at least January, but Inter want to take him now and could even raise their offer slightly to convince the Blucerchiati.

The forward has a €25m release clause, but that would have to be paid up-front rather than in instalments.
