Inter have reportedly met with the representatives of Hertha Berlin winger Valentino Lazaro, but are some distance away from his €20m asking price.

According to Sportitalia’s Alfredo Pedullà, the Nerazzurri have contacted the player’s agent in the last few hours and are willing to pay between €15m-€16m for the Austria international.

Pedullà reports that the deal could potentially drag on, similar to the Dalbert saga from two years ago.

However, Federico Pastorello, who is also Romelu Lukaku’s agent, is said to mediating between the two parties.

The 23-year-old joined the German side from RB Salzburg last summer for €6.5m and scored three times in 31 Bundesliga games this season, while also providing seven assists.

Meanwhile, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are also tracking the wide man, who could also possibly play wing-back in Antonio Conte's favoured 3-5-2.
