Inter are reportedly set to battle it out with Juventus for Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are in the midst of negotiations for next season, with a particular focus on ‘young but already established players’ for their clubs and countries.

Consequently, the Nerazzurri would have been alerted to Pellegrini, who will be able to leave Roma for just €25m if he plays at least 45 minutes on four more occasions this season.

The 21-year-old followed Eusebio Di Francesco to the Olimpico from Sassuolo last summer and has gone on to make 31 appearances for the Champions League quarter-finalists.

He also has three caps for Italy, turning out for the Azzurri in their last match against England.
