Simone Inzaghi has just left Pinetina after a tour of Inter’s sports centre and is expected to meet with President Steven Zhang.

Sky Sport Italia reveals Inzaghi took his first steps at Appiano Gentile with Piero Ausilio and Dario Baccin and will reportedly meet President Zhang at the club’s headquarters later today.

CEO Beppe Marotta has officially welcomed the coach too, as he arrived at Pinetina after lunch today.

Inzaghi and his agent Tullio Tinti was shown around the facilities and has officially started his adventure with the Nerazzurri, where Inzaghi has signed a two-year deal with the Serie A champions.

Antonio Conte left the club in May after winning the Scudetto and more changes are expected at the Giuseppe Meazza this summer.

Inter want to cut costs and Achraf Hakimi is one of the players in question, as the Morocco international is expected to leave the club after only one season, but the club has reportedly set an €80m price-tag for the full-back.

With the tour at Pinetina and the meeting with CEO Marotta and later with Steven Zhang, Inzaghi’s stint at Inter has officially started.

Inzaghi arrived at noon local time and left five hours later.
