Palermo have revealed that Italian giants Inter are in total control of Emiliano Viviano’s future.

The goalkeeper joined the Rosanero in January after they signed a 50 per cent stake in his contract, but a return to San Siro may be on the horizon.

“Viviano is an excellent ‘keeper who we believed in and still believe in,” President Maurizio Zamparini told FC Inter News. “However, our hands are tied…

“Inter have an option to redeem him at the end of the season which will invalidate our chances of signing him.

“Inter are in total control. If they decide that the moment has arrived to take him back to Milan to play, then they can do that from as soon as June.”

The Italian international’s agent yesterday suggested that the Nerazzurri would look to recall the former Bologna shot-stopper.
