Inter have reportedly been warned off signing Francesco Acerbi in January but will go back in for the Sassuolo defender in the summer.
According to FcInterNews.it, Acerbi is “a long-time target” of Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio, but the latter will not get his wish next month as Sassuolo are “unwilling to give up” one of their best players.

For this, the Nerazzurri are happy to wait until the end of the season, when they will review the former Chievo and Milan man’s situation again, given he will only have one year left on his contract.
The 28-year-old has remarkably not missed a single minute of Sassuolo’s 26 games this season and also has two Italy caps.
