Inter supporters are gearing up for the first release of tickets for the Champions League final against Manchester City, with the application process for season ticket holders and club members beginning at 16.00 UK time on Monday afternoon.

Around 87,000 fans are eligible to apply for the hottest tickets on the market, made up of season ticket holders for the current season and those who have been club members for the last three consecutive years.

Only 20,000 seats, however, are reserved for Inter fans at the 74,000 capacity Ataturk Olympic Stadium, with the same number being offered to Man City. The remaining 34,000 tickets will be split between the general sale and hospitality for sponsors and other VIPs.

Nerazzurri fans have until 8.00 on Wednesday morning to apply for tickets on the UEFA website and the club have sent out information to their supporters on how to navigate the ticketing system.

The distribution of tickets will not be decided on a first-come-first-served basis, rather on loyalty, with those who have been season ticket holders for the longest given a higher rank in the pecking order.

Therefore, an application is not necessarily a guarantee that a ticket will be received.
