Although rumours from France suggest that Paris Saint-Germain are launching a last-minute move for Milan Skriniar, Gianluca Di Marzio claims the defender will stay with Inter until the summer.

L’Equipe reported today that PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi had made his way to Italy to personally try and agree a deal for the Slovakian centre back, with whispers of a new offer worth €15m plus €5m in add-ons. Skriniar will not renew his contract with Inter and is destined to leave the club in the near future.

According to Di Marzio, Inter do not expect to sell Skriniar to PSG on transfer deadline day and so believe he’ll stay with the club until the summer, when his contract expires. The player has already signed a preliminary deal with the Ligue 1 giants.

The Nerazzurri have started lining up possible replacements, including Atalanta’s Merih Demiral, but are now planning to move ahead with the Slovakian centre back, at least for the time being.
