Reports in Italy claim Inter director Piero Ausilio has returned to England to meet Chelsea and Manchester United and continue negotiations for Romelu Lukaku and André Onana.

The Nerazzurri are planning to sell the Cameroon international for at least €50m and raise the money they need to sign Lukaku on a permanent deal from Chelsea.

Il Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport newspapers claim on Tuesday that Ausilio has flown to England for the second time in less than two weeks to meet Chelsea and Manchester United directors again.

Onana’s agents met Manchester United executives last week and the Red Devils are ready to make an opening bid for the 27-year-old. According to Il Corriere dello Sport (page 2), David Raya of Brentford and Dorde Petrovic of New England Revolution are also on United’s agenda.

As per Tuttosport (page 15), Samir Handanovic could still extend his contract with Inter depending on who will replace Onana.

Ausilio is also expected to meet Chelsea directors in England.

Gazzetta (page 8) confirms Lukaku only wants to return to the Stadio Meazza and is in a hurry to complete his third move to Inter. The Serie A giants are also expected to sign Cesar Azpilicueta on a free transfer from the Blues after agreeing to personal terms with the Spanish defender.
