Rumours suggest that the Saudi Arabian FA are interested in hiring Alessandro Antonello but the Inter CEO is not tempted by a move, reports note.

Football has become a hot commodity in Saudi Arabia following the PIF’s decision to invest heavily into four of their top clubs. In the summer transfer window, Saudi clubs were incredibly active, tempting a number of European stars including Neymar, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Karim Benzema.

Roberto Mancini unexpectedly resigned from his post with Italy in August and later signed a three-year contract with the Saudi national team, showing the government’s ambitions to continue the growth of football in the country.

As reported by Tuttosport via TMW, the Saudi FA are interested in hiring Antonello, but he isn’t willing to leave Inter, wanting to remain the club’s corporate CEO.

He has been in the role since 2017 and is a board member on the European Club Association, managing the Nerazzurri’s commercial, marketing, media and corporate interests.
