Referee Davide Massa will oversee Milan’s upcoming clash with Lazio whilst Daniele Chiffi will officiate Juventus’ trip to Atalanta.
The Italian Referees’ Association has officially confirmed the appointments for the upcoming round of Serie A matches, which kick off with Napoli’s away clash with Lecce on Saturday October 30 at 14.00 UK time and end with Fiorentina’s Monday night match against Cagliari.
Three matches will take place on Saturday, four more on Sunday and the final three on Monday.
It was recently announced that VAR decisions will be broadcast on DAZN this season onward, shedding light on various contentious decisions. The hope is that it’ll reduce the volatility surrounding officiating in the Italian topflight.
After four rounds of suspension, referee Marco Di Bello will return to action, overseeing Fiorentina’s game against Cagliari. The referee was sent to the second division for four matches after his missed penalty call in Bologna’s draw with Juventus.
