Inter have announced a deal with Mexican Sports channel Affizzionados to become the club’s first Regional Partner in Latin America.

The Nerazzurri will provide the broadcasters with exclusive content, experiences and the opportunity for fans from Mexico to fly to Milan to see the team in action.

The partnership is intended to strengthen the club’s presence in Latin America, home to the second-largest base of Inter supporters across the world.

According to a statement on the club website, the move to partner with Affizionados is part of the steps Inter have taken to establish themselves as a “media entertainment company.”

The aim is to create content for the world’s major international broadcasters, which will help fans across the globe feel more interconnected with the team, as well as providing a much-needed boost to Inter’s club revenues.

Luca Danovaro, Inter’s chief revenue officer released the following statement via the club’s media channels:

“We are really pleased to have closed this deal with TV channel Afizzionados. This partnership will allow us to strengthen our presence in Latin America, a location of strategic importance in Inter’s pursuit of brand development on the American continent.”

“It will also mean that we can get closer to our Mexican fanbase, who are one of the most committed in the world, and it rewards our commitment to transforming our club into a real media entertainment company.”
