It was achieved via 12 sales, including Geoffrey Kondogbia and Jeison Murillo making their loans at Valencia permanent, Davide Santon and Nicolò Zaniolo to Roma as part of the Radja Nainggolan transfer and Jens Odgaard to Sassuolo for Matteo Politano.
The real cash came from their youth team players, as Davide Bettella and Marco Carraro went to Atalanta for a total of €11m, Ionut Radu and Federico Valietti for Genoa at €13m.
With the fresh funds brought in, Inter can now focus their attention on buying Dembele from Tottenham Hotspur, as his contract expires in June 2019.
The Belgium international is currently at the World Cup and turns 31 later this month.
An offer of €10m was already rejected, as Spurs want closer to €30m.
