Inter are reportedly prepared to take Barcelona forward Malcom on loan with obligation to buy this summer.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Inter have got back in touch with Malcom’s agent and are ready to improve on last summer’s proposal of a loan deal with an option to buy.

The Brazilian controversially pulled out a proposed transfer to Roma at the 11th hour to join Barca last year, but he has managed just three goals in 15 appearances in 2018-19.

When asked about the speculation, representative Leonardo Cornacini told Calciomercato.it: “We respect Inter and their sporting director very much.

“However, I repeat: right now there’s nothing. Malcolm is certainly an interesting player for any European club, but he has a long contract, until June 2023, with the Blaugrana.

“He’s adapting well and we’re convinced that next season, he’ll do much better than this one.”

His arrival would also cast doubt over whether the Nerazzurri keep on fellow attackers Keita Balde Diao and Matteo Politano.
