The Nerazzurri have long been linked with reinforcements in attack, with most attention previously dedicated to former Atletico Madrid's Alessio Cerci and Arsenal's Lukas Podolski.

Now, with the Italian already signed by Milan and the Gunner relatively close to La Beneamata, Inter have reportedly turned interest to PSG's Lavezzi.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, El Pocho's relationship with his current club is now fraught and the player is open to a move in January.

The publication reports that the player has turned down an offer to renew his contract and has since been told by the club that they are looking to renew their squad.

Inter President Erick Thohir is therefore seen as in line to try an advanced purchase now, with the player's estimated value having dropped to €10m.

An alternative may be to get the player on loan with an agreement to buy him in the summer.
