“The important thing was to win and get back to the top of the table,” Insigne reflected after the match.
“We know we didn’t play one of our best matches, but during the season there are games like this.”

The Italy forward added that attention now turns to Friday’s crunch home Serie A meeting with Scudetto rivals Juventus.
“We gave our all, we managed to win and now we need to think about Friday where a difficult game awaits us.
“Getting back on top means a lot because we need to respond when the other teams win and overtake us.
“There are still things to improve and we need to get our heads down and work.”
