“It’s the first time we’ve played against each other, so it’ll be emotional, but for 90 minutes we’ll be ‘enemies’ as he defends Benevento and me Napoli. May the best team win and I hope it’s a lovely game.”
It has been a tough few days in Naples, as the local Mayor imposed lockdown measures due to the COVID-19 spread, sparking a riot in the streets.
“I have always stayed in this city and tried to help my fellow Neapolitans during the lockdown. We hope to give them a smile today and that we can get through this together.”
