Speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, Inler's agent Dino Lamberti refused to rule out the prospect of a transfer when the market opens again in just under a month's time.

"I believe that the margins exist to restart the deal," he said. "The Pozzos treat Inler like one of the family. They care about him a lot.

"Gokhan is professional. He has never drunk in his life, not even coca cola. I still have to talk to the Pozzos, who I believe don't want to deprive themselves of Inler in January.

"But if an important opportunity were to arise, they could sell him too.

"Gokhan is happy in Udine. Some months ago we decided whether to go to England or Germany but we thought that it were best to stay in Friuli for another six months or a year.

"He still has to work and grow in terms of personality and I have to say that in the last few months there has been a vast improvement."
