Leonardo Spinazzola pulled up during Italy’s training session today and is in doubt for the World Cup play-off with Sweden.

The Atalanta wing-back suffered a muscular problem during the final stages of today’s training exercises at the Coverciano ground.

He will be rested as a precautionary measure, but it puts his presence in doubt for Friday’s first leg of the World Cup play-off in Stockholm.

The decider is at Milan’s Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Monday evening.
