Iniesta sustained a bruised thigh on Saturday – enough of a knock to see him omitted from Pep Guardiola’s squad.
Barca are also without Adriano Correia, Ibrahim Afellay and Daniel Alves.
Milan and Barcelona have already qualified for the last 16 stage of the competition.
They are now just fighting for first place in the group, a position Barca currently hold by two points over the San Siro giants.
