Torino striker Ciro Immobile says he is ready to postpone his wedding in order to appear at the 2014 World Cup.

Although the striker is uncapped at full international level, he is having a fine campaign following his summer arrival.

“The wedding is set for May, but the national side would not have left for Brazil yet,” the forward told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Last year I moved the date because of the European Under-21 Championship, who knows if I will have to move it for the World Cup…

“To play in a World Cup is the objective for every player. If it goes badly this time then I’ll look at 2018 as I’m still young.”

The former Genoa and Pescara man, who is co-owned with Juventus, has scored eight goals in 15 Serie A games so far this term.
