Ciro Immobile believes the 2-1 victory at Udinese changes everything for Lazio. “Playing the derby level on points with Roma is different.”

The Biancocelesti had gone behind at the Dacia Arena to a Kevin Lasagna header, but turned it around with Immobile and Luis Alberto.

“We didn’t feel the weight of pressure, but we knew it was important to win, mainly because going into the derby level on points with Roma is a different situation to behind three points behind them,” the striker told Mediaset Premium.

“It wasn’t our best performance, but we’re happy with the result and that’s all that mattered. I felt good and wanted to stay on the pitch, but as I was a yellow card away from suspension and we played on Thursday too, the Coach probably felt it best to protect me a little bit.

“This is a great squad, we’re doing remarkable things and must continue like this.”
