Maurizio Zamparini has expressed his hope that Palermo’s star players will remain with the club long-term.

The Rosanero patron spoke to Radio Sportiva after his side’s 2-0 win over Milan at San Siro, in which Argentinean Paulo Dybala once again starred.

“If I had €60m I’d buy another five Dybalas!” Zamparini joked.

“He certainly won’t be leaving this year, and I hope he won’t leave next year either.”

The 76-year-old also took the time to discuss the imminent contract renewals of Edgar Barreto and Ezequiel Munoz.

“Their future is Palermo. There is no chance of them leaving. Be patient.

“You’d be fascinated if I told you the about the salaries, but I can’t give you that information.

“I don't think however, that they’ll leave, I think we will find a common ground.

“Both Munoz and Barreto are very fond of Palermo and me, as I'm fond of them. We'll try to find a solution together.”
