Inter outcast Mauro Icardi could be staying in Serie A as agent-wife Wanda Nara is set to appear on Italian television again next season.

Wanda was a regular guest on Mediaset show ‘Tiki Taka’ last term, and her confrontations with Antonio Cassano over Icardi on Sunday evenings went viral on social media.

“She should be confirmed,” Mediaset chiefs told reporters on Wednesday.

“We’re in talks right now, but we should reach an agreement.”

The Argentine has spent the summer jet-setting with the striker, who has no future at Inter.

He went on a self-imposed exile in February after he lost the club’s captaincy, only returning for the final nine Serie A games of the previous campaign.

The pair are known to be extremely close, so it is unlikely Icardi will move abroad and abandon his partner.

Juventus have been put forward as the likeliest Italian club to sign the 26-year-old if he leaves the Nerazzurri.
