Mauro Icardi could join Juventus this summer via Paris Saint-Germain, according to Tuttosport.

Icardi is on-loan at the French giants from Inter following a revolution of sorts at the club last summer under Antonio Conte.

Icardi is on-loan at the French giants from Inter following a revolution of sorts at the club last summer under Antonio Conte.

It’s been reported in recent weeks that Icardi isn’t happy at his situation in Ligue 1, with the striker used sparingly and is behind Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in the attacking hierarchy.

Tuttosport claims that the Bianconeri, who tried to sign Icardi last summer, could make another attempt at signing the Argentine, this time via a different method.

Knowing that the chances of Inter accepting a direct bid from their rivals for Icardi are slim, Tuttosport claim that PSG would redeem Icardi for the agreed-price of €70m, and then instantly sell him on to Juventus for a slightly larger fee.

It’s also reported by the Turin daily that should this hypothetical situation happen, the Nerazzurri would actually receive €85m for Icardi, as there is a clause in the loan agreement stating that should he be sold to the Italian champions, the transfer fee rises.

Tuttosport also states that Napoli, who also desperately tried to sign Icardi last summer, could make another attempt to entice him to the south of Italy.
