LA Galaxy boss Guillermo Barros Schelotto says Zlatan Ibrahimovic “wants to finish his career in Italy, maybe at Napoli or even Milan.”

Ibrahimovic announced on Twitter last night that he would be leaving the Galaxy next month, and Barros Schelotto was asked about the striker’s next destination.

“I don’t know what Ibra will do now,” the Palermo old boy told Radio Kiss Kiss.

Ibrahimovic announced on Twitter last night that he would be leaving the Galaxy next month, and Barros Schelotto was asked about the striker’s next destination.

“I don’t know what Ibra will do now,” the Palermo old boy told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“Hes a wonderful player, but I don’t know what his next step will be, maybe he’ll end his career at Napoli or even Milan.

“I don’t know where, but he deserves and wants to finish his career in Italy.”

One of the clubs showing an interest is Napoli, whose coach Carlo Ancelotti worked with the 38-year-old at Paris Saint-Germain.

“They know each other well, Zlatan clearly has the characteristics that Naples need.

Zlatan showed his humorous side when he confirmed his exit from Los Angeles, telling MLS fans to “go back to watching baseball.”

“This is Zlatan, it’s his way of saying goodbye.”
