The Argentine is a doubt for the Champions League game after picking up an ankle injury against Torino on Sunday.
“Tevez has settled in really well,” Iaquinta said to TMW when asked about the summer signing from Manchester City.
“I really hope that he does make it tonight.
“At this moment in time, Tevez really is so important for this Juventus side.”
The forward has scored three goals in 472 minutes in Serie A, across six appearances, so far this season.
Iaquinta, who is currently unemployed after his contract at Juve expired in the summer, was also asked about Sebastian Giovinco.
“It’s true that he hasn’t been given that much space, but he’s had his chances like in the derby against Torino,” the 2006 World Cup winner added.
“You have to have patience when you are part of a great squad. But if the quality is there then he’ll see action.”
The Italian has played for just 95 minutes in Serie A and 17 in the Champions League so far this campaign for the Old Lady.
