Beppe Iachini is ‘not worried’ by Sassuolo’s poor recent form as they prepare to face Bologna.

Although the Neroverdi are six points clear of the relegation zone, they have failed to win in six matches and scored just two goals in that time.

Although the Neroverdi are six points clear of the relegation zone, they have failed to win in six matches and scored just two goals in that time.

Speaking at a Press conference ahead of the trip to face Roberto Donadoni’s team, the former Palermo Coach insisted he is still pleased with the job he has done at the club overall.

“Looking at my time since I arrived here, I must say that other than the first games the team has always played well,” Iachini told reporters.

“We have got points and been solid – although in the last five games we have been punished by incidents and we haven’t had luck.

“But we have still played good matches in different ways.”

Bologna are also on a poor run, having lost seven of their last nine matches, but Iachini believes Roberto Donadoni’s team will prove dangerous opponents.

“This is an important match, it’s like a derby. Bolognahave quality and have been with Donadoni for a couple of years.

“We need to improve in terms of scoring goals. I would be worried if our play hadn’t improved – but that isn’t the case.”
