“We achieved record points in Serie A, a record number of goals, developed the style of play to get the best out of many young players.
“You can talk about everything that’s going on now, from the lack of points to the rest. It is disappointing that someone says I’m confused. I try to resolve problems and lack of clarity.
“I do not give up. At times the President uses his words to motivate the team rather than me specifically. We all know the President is a volcanic figure, but in these situations it’s best to clarify things looking at the big picture.
“I am accustomed to leaving only when I win, as that is my character and the dignity I have as a man. I have the utmost faith in these lads, but we need to be calm and enthusiastic to get back on track.”
