Fiorentina are without Federico Chiesa, Martin Caceres and coach Beppe Iachini against Lazio, but the latter pair have extra bans for blasphemy.

Caceres and Iachini were sent off during last night’s 1-1 draw with Brescia and are therefore suspended, while Chiesa received enough yellow cards this season to activate a ban.

However, Caceres has a two-match ban because after he was sent off, he ‘uttered a blasphemous phrase’ while leaving the field.

In the Italian language, the worst type of swearing is a particular blasphemous phrase.

Coach Iachini was also, according to the disciplinary commission, sent off from the touchline for using those words and is given a one-match ban.

With the games played behind closed doors, it has become easier to hear what is being said both on and off the pitch, so we could well see more bans of this nature.

Juventus full-back Danilo was sent off against Bologna for two yellow cards, so he too has a one-match ban.
