Elseid Hysaj has been included in the list of Lazio players present for the pre-season camp at Auronzo di Cadore and sent a message to the Napoli fans. ‘You made me and my family feel at home’.
The former Partenopei defender has joined Maurizio Sarri’s new side ahead of 2021-22 and the Aquile presented a list of the players ready for the retreat at Auronzo, including Hysaj, but without Luis Alberto.
The 27-year-old joined Napoli from Empoli for a reported €5m in August 2015 but left the club after his contract expired on June 30 and joins Lazio on a free transfer.
“Thanks to the fans, you made me and my family feel at home,” Hysaj wrote on social media in a message to the Partenopei fans.
“I have always tried to honour the shirt, the only thing I regret is not celebrating my goal with the full stadium!
“I will carry you in my heart.”
