Details have begun to emerge of Roger Ibanez’s potential salary requests if he is to leave Roma to play for Nottingham Forest in the Premier League next season.

According to recent reports, Forest are the frontrunners to land Ibanez’s signature this summer, however, they do face competition from Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia as per Fabrizio Romano’s recent claims.

Il Corriere dello Sport report that Roma have received a proposal of €25m from Forest, but would like to push for several million more, with their asking price standing at €35m.

The outlet also claims that, while an opportunity in the Premier League is an enticing option, Ibanez would need some convincing to leave the Stadio Olimpico in favour of what is likely to be a relegation battle at the City Ground.

With that in mind, Il Corriere believes that Roma will have to pay Ibanez a salary of around €4m-€5m per season in order to get the deal done.
