Napoli will earn €12.4m from the first part of their Champions League participation, considerably more than Inter, Lazio and especially Milan.

Tomorrow UEFA are due to hand out a total of €284.55m to the 32 participants of the Champions League group phase, split between bonuses for results and portions of the market pool.

According to the calculations from Calcio e Finanza, Napoli will get by far the most of the Italian clubs with €12.4m, largely because they have a larger share of the market pool, having qualified as winners of the Serie A title.

Inter have had the best results of the Italians so far, winning two and drawing the other, so will receive an instalment of €9.93m.

Lazio follow on €8.83m, but Milan pick up a measly €3.56m after managing only two draws and a defeat, without scoring a single goal.

They also finished fourth in Serie A last season and therefore have the smallest share of the market pool.
