Massimiliano Allegri has returned for a second spell at Juventus and here’s how the Bianconeri could line up under the Italian tactician and without Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Portuguese star could leave the Bianconeri in the summer. When Allegri left Juventus in 2019, he had told the club he imagined Juventus without the former Real Madrid and Manchester United striker who had moved to Turin one year prior.

His vision could become real this season with the 36-year-old leaving Turin.

Although the summer transfer window has yet to begin, the pink paper previews how the Old Lady could line up under Allegri.

The Italian tactician is an admirer of the likes of Federico Chiesa, Dejan Kulusevski and Alvaro Morata who is currently on loan at Juventus.

The Bianconeri can extend his loan for one more season for €10m or sign him on a permanent deal for €45m.

He could be Juventus’ main striker in 2021-22 even if the club are also monitoring PSG’s Mauro Icardi.

Allegri also wants Paulo Dybala to stay and urged Juventus’ directors to offer the Argentinean a contract extension.

Dybala was offered €10m-a-year last summer, but he reportedly rejected the offer from the club.

His contract expires in June 2022 and if the club don’t reach an agreement with the striker, he may have to leave in the summer.

On the other hand, captain Giorgio Chiellini is expected to extend his stay at the club until 2022.

Talking about expiring contracts, Gigio Donnarumma is a transfer target for the Serie A giants. The Milan goalkeeper will leave his club as a free agent and yesterday, he ‘liked’ an Instagram post announcing Allegri’s Juventus return.

The Old Lady, however, would need to sell Wojciech Szczesny before signing the 22-year-old.

The Bianconeri could also sign two midfielders. The priority target is Manuel Locatelli whose contract with Sassuolo expires in June 20223.

Allegri is an admirer of Miralem Pjanic who could leave Barcelona.

One year ago, the Bosnian midfielder joined the Catalans from Juventus in a swap deal with Arthur worth over €80m, for this reason, it’s difficult to imagine his Juventus return on a permanent deal.
