The Japanese international will be a free agent when he contract expires in December 2013 and already has a deal for the Rossoneri in January.

“I am proud of Milan, but for the negotiations and the possibility of arriving at San Siro straight away you’d have to ask my brother. He is working on it,” said Honda.

It is widely believed that Milan’s delegation, including Honda’s brother, will meet with CSKA Moscow on Monday afternoon.

The Russian club is currently demanding €5m, which the Rossoneri consider too much for a player who will be a free agent in six months’ time.
