The Japan international’s contract is set to run on in January 2014, and although personal terms had reportedly been agreed with the San Siro side, it was unclear as to whether he would join this summer or for free in the winter.
However, a number of outlets have insisted this evening that the 27-year-old is nudging ever closer to joining during this transfer window.
