“I was hoping for a better future,” the midfielder told the Japanese media. “I hoped right until the very end that I could move to the Italian championship.
“My objectives haven’t changed though and I don’t intend to change them.
“For now all that I am thinking about is CSKA Moscow, but my contract is running down and I’m honoured that my name is being linked with other clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City.”
Honda, 25, joined CSKA in January 2010 and has also been linked with the likes of Milan and Juventus” data-scaytid=”12″>Juventus in the past.
