“There has been no offer from Catania for Hernandez.
“And with all due respect to the Etnei, if the boy was to be sold then he would be joining a side who could possibly be fighting for the Scudetto.
“Nevertheless, it is our intention to keep him and we hope we manage to do that.”
The Uruguayan international striker has been paired with a summer move since Palermo were relegated from Serie A in May.
