Napoli captain Marek Hamsik believes “we’re in a good place” and after the international break they’ll “try to reduce the gap to Juventus”.
The Partenopei are second in Serie A, but are six points behind the seven time champions, who pipped them to the Scudetto last season.
“We had a start with difficult matches, in the Champions League too,” Hamsik pointed out, speaking to sport.aktuality.sk.

“We’re in a good place, even if Juventus are already a bit ahead. After the international break we’ll try to get to the Champions League Last 16, and reduce the gap to Juventus.
“On a personal level I haven’t had a perfect start, but I’ve improved a lot in the new role. The Coach [Carlo Ancelotti] noticed that things weren’t going exactly as they should and slightly tweaked the system.
“I think Napoli are once again showing the strength we had, getting good results and performances.”
