Today tests confirmed there are no fractures or lesions in the left foot, but the heavy blow was in the same area as a previous bruise.
Napoli released a statement noting his condition will be evaluated over the next few days, but he will not be able to take part in Tuesday’s Champions League match in Dortmund.
