Marek Hamsik insists Napoli “played better” than Besiktas, but “the draw is an excellent result”.
The Partenopei were held to a 1-1 draw in Turkey, but will qualify for the Last 16 of the Champions League if they beat Dynamo Kiev and hope Benfica beat Besiktas in Istanbul.
“We played better than Besiktas and we deserved the three points,” Hamsik wrote on his official website.
“The draw is an excellent result though. I thank all of our fans who followed us to Turkey and I think they came home happy.
