“My best Napoli ever? I can confirm that,” Hamsik said to Gazzetta dello Sport.

“My best Napoli ever? I can confirm that,” Hamsik said to Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I’ve never played in a Napoli team like the current one. Sarri has given an important turning point to the project: good football and personality.
“[Gonzalo] Higuain is having an extraordinary season. Only world class players can keep up a rhythm like he has. But behind his goals there’s a solid team.
“I like playing in this Napoli team. And when a player enjoys themselves, their performance improves.”
Hamsik has just returned from international duty with Slovakia, where he was involved in a 2-2 draw with Italy’s Euro 2016 groups stage opponents Ireland.
“Advice for [Antonio] Conte against Ireland? Ireland aren’t a team to be taken lightly, but Italy are better,” said the Napoli captain.
“They lost 4-1 in Germany, it’s true, but I think they’re still one of the favourites at the Euros.”
