“There’s bitterness in reading that he was the worst against Liverpool, for me it was a good performance and people aren’t taking into account the Liverpool pressing.
“It doesn’t seem right for him to be criticised so much, especially given the opponent.
“Some people clearly don’t know that his role has changed, and that he’s playing a completely different one to the one he was used to.
“Perhaps I could say that those who have criticised him don’t know football.”
