It’s reported the cost of the operation between buying him out from Botafogo, paying his wages and those of his chosen staff would’ve come to €15m.
Because of this, President Silvio Berlusconi was unwilling to go through with the move and stuck with Massimiliano Allegri.
Seedorf is continuing his playing career in Brazil with Botafogo.
