Udinese boss Francesco Guidolin has insisted he wants to stay at the club for the foreseeable future in whatever capacity they see fit.

The 57-year-old has been at the Zebrette since 2010, guiding them to two top-four finishes, and he has claimed he wants to remain in the north-east – whilst also commenting on the 2012/13 campaign.

“I want to stay here as a Coach or in another dimension,” he told a Press conference. “But it is too early to talk about that.

“My attachment and affection for this place is so big. Udinese will be in my thoughts forever.

“So far we have had an unbelievable championship. A lot of people have made complaints, but they have a habit of looking at the glass as half-empty.

“That makes me angry, because people have to be realistic. I see the glass as half-full. A European place may be far away at the moment, but we have to go one step at a time.”
