It is reported that the left-back turned down proposals from Australia a few weeks ago, but has changed his mind after no offers came in from European clubs.
Grosso might get a less than warm welcome, though, as he was criticised by the Australian media for the penalty incident that knocked the Socceroos out of the 2006 World Cup.
