Benfica left-back Alex Grimaldo has reportedly said ‘yes’ to a summer switch to Juventus.

According to Calciomercato.com, Juve have kept tabs on Grimaldo ‘for several years’ and the Spaniard is ready to sign for the Bianconeri.

The website explains the case for his arrival is supported by Jorge Mendes, whose relationship with the Bianconeri is strong after deals for Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Cancelo.

However, the 23-year-old is only likely to be pursued if Alex Sandro leaves at the end of the season.
