FIGC Presidential candidate Gabriele Gravina confirms he sees Beppe Marotta as “the right man to revive Club Italia”.

It was reported earlier this week that the Lega Pro chief would offer the outgoing Juventus general manager a role within the Azzurri setup if he is elected.

Marotta would be head of Club Italia, which aims to support the activities of the various national teams through co-ordination and shared expertise.

There are four bodies within it: the medical area, scouting, match analysis, and performance and research.

“He’s the right man to revive Club Italia,” Gravina said on Radio Crc.

“We’ll try to have a broad consensus to instigate reforms. I know Marotta personally, he’s the right profile, and as long as it’s possible I’ll try to work with him.”
