New Inter signing Robin Gosens has received his first call-up in four months and could make his debut with the Nerazzurri tonight.

Although Ivan Perisic is expected to start at left wing-back against Milan, Gosens could make his first appearance with the Serie A defending Champions coming off the bench. The ex-Atalanta star has revealed on social media that he will be available for the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-finals against the Rossoneri.

“Finally, the first call-up after more than four months,” he wrote on Instagram.

The Germany international moved to Inter from Atalanta on an initial loan deal with an option to buy in January. Inter must make Gosens’ move permanent during the next season and pay €22m plus potential €5 add-ons. Gosens spent the first few weeks at Appiano Gentile on the treatment table, recovering from a severe hamstring injury he had sustained with Atalanta.

The 27-year-old played his last competitive match against Inter on September 25. He had scored two goals and delivered one assist in eight appearances with La Dea in the first part of the campaign.
